Disclosure

Privacy, affiliates, and how this site is funded.

Affiliate disclosure

Parent Coach Playbook is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

When you click an Amazon link on this site and make a purchase, we earn a small commission. The price you pay does not change. We only recommend gear we would buy for our own kids.

Some non-Amazon links may also pay us a commission. Where that is the case the link is marked with a small note. Editorial recommendations are not influenced by commission rates.

Editorial independence

Nothing on this site is sponsored. We do not accept payment to feature a product, a camp, a service, or a person. If that ever changes, the post will say so at the top.

If a recommendation no longer holds up, we update the piece and add a correction at the bottom.

Privacy

We collect three things and only three things.

  1. Email addresses, when you sign up for the newsletter or download a PDF. Stored at our email provider, Kit. We use your email to send you the newsletter and the resources you asked for. Unsubscribe in any email and your address is removed.
  2. Anonymous traffic data via Cloudflare Web Analytics. Page views, referrer, country. No cookies, no individual tracking, no advertising profiles.
  3. Submissions you send us, when you email a story or submit a camp. Used only to respond and to publish if you ask us to.

We do not sell or share your email. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not use Google Analytics.

If you want your email removed, unsubscribe via the link in any newsletter or write to parentcoachplaybook@gmail.com.

Children

This site is written for parents and coaches. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Medical and safety advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice. When a topic touches injury, concussion, mental health, or returning to play after a setback, follow the guidance of a clinician, your league's protocol, and the relevant national governing body. We link to authoritative sources where we can.
