Theater rarely requires sized gear. The decisions parents face are stage makeup, dance shoes for musicals, and a binder for the script.

Dance shoes (musicals)

Character shoes for musical theater roles. Sized 1-2 sizes smaller than street shoe for women, true to size for men.

Tap shoes if the show calls for them. Same sizing rule.
